It was 1817 when James Parkinson published the first detailed essay about what was then known only as “shaking palsy”. Surely it’s time we found a cure!
While April is Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Month, we believe every month should offer an opportunity to spread awareness and raise much needed funds. Join us to blend cars and camaraderie for this important cause and help us to benefit those challenged by Parkinson’s Disease today and aid further research efforts to put an end to this indiscriminate, progressive movement disorder.

Let’s put your Drive Toward a Cure Day event on the calendar, work together on the plan, and use our online registration. Every month is a good month to support the cause and host a Drive Toward a Cure Day event!

Women in Porsche is proud to be supporting Drive Toward a Cure (for Parkinson’s) again this month! Please join us as we rally for this amazing cause through our #WiPCares initiative and give back to our communities in a significant way, while also gathering with your peers, friends, neighbors, etc. to drive those amazing Porsche cars! #WiPCares is the charitable arm of Women in Porsche that seeks to give back to our communities.
From 7am-10am we will be at Cars And Coffee at The Toy Barn, 4504 East Lone Mountain Road, Cave Creek, Arizona. After the event we’ll cruise together down to Blanco Tacos and Tequila, 6166 N Scottsdale Road, Unit 601, Paradise Valley, Arizona.

We will take Rt 66 from downtown Chicago to visit Rt 66 Old School Brewing where they recently started the “Pink Boots Society” in which ladies in the brewing industry are designing beer profiles in a contest to pick the favorite! We will leave Chicago at 10:00 a.m. and arrive at the brewery around 12:00 p.m. (The starting point is TBA.)
Be the star of your own “Performance” Car Conversations for a Cause video! Join the AGSupercars Rally & VIP Hanger Event in Miami for this exclusive opportunity.
We are still getting our route dialed in but rest assured, it will be a scenic drive (approximately 4 hours) on some of the best roads in the region! 100% of your Tour registration fee goes to the Drive Toward a Cure charity to benefit Parkinson’s research. We are limiting the drive to no more than 60 cars so please register as soon as possible to ensure your spot.

Calling all car enthusiasts for DRIVE-IN CHATS with co-ambassadors Jeff Ehoodin and Alexander Davidis of CARCULTURE.TV who are spearheading ‘Conversations for a Cause.’ Sign up, drive up and share the provenance of your favorite ‘ride.’ Play a supporting role that continues beyond the personal, with a socially sharable video. The Northeast is a car collector haven and the goal is to connect with automotive enthusiasts across the Tri-State area and the nation. Highlight that passion by telling your driver stories for the camera.
Funds raised from this drive will benefit Division of Motor Disorders at Columbia University (NY), a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence.
Join Lance Phillips of Air & Asphalt LLC, ambassador for the North Texas Dinosaur Valley Tour event. Gathering in South Dallas, our group will enjoy a 150-mile drive through some of the most scenic areas of North Texas throughout the day’s journey. At the halfway point, we’ll enjoy lunch as we get ready for the second half of the tour.
Funds raised from this drive will benefit The Parkinson’s Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic at Baylor College of Medicine (Houston), a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence.
Join Aaron Spaulding/Mike Thies of the Concours d’Elegance of Atlanta, and co-ambassador Bruce Piefke of Caffeine and Octane for a unique Atlanta event for the second Rally Across America Drive Toward a Cure Day, starting at Caffeine and Octane in Dunwoody/Sandy Springs, for a scenic tour of some of the finest roads to travel in the Alpharetta, Cummings, Oakwood and Gainesville areas, with a hosted lunch in Peachtree Corners.
Funds raised from this drive will benefit the Parkinson’s Disease Comprehensive Care Clinic at Emory Udall Parkinson’s Disease Center (Atlanta), a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence.
This scenic drive fundraiser will depart from Surf City Dunkin Donuts (location) at 11:00 am. Plan to arrive early to grab whatever you fancy at the drive through, participate in the driver’s meeting, sign the waiver, and catch up with fellow club members (while observing social distancing guidelines in effect).
The route will take us through Sneads Ferry, Holly Ridge, and most of Topsail Island, then wind up at Daddy Mac’s Beach Grille for those wanting to join us for a late lunch. Assuming the weather and seating availability permits, we intend to be seated outside overlooking the ocean and Surf City pier.
Join Neil d’Autremont and Keith Martin of Sports Car Market Magazine, co-ambassadors for the first Rally Across America Drive Toward a Cure Day, starting at Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo in Wilsonville, for a 150-mile drive through some of the most scenic areas of Oregon and SW Washington. Lunch will be included.
Funds raised from this drive will benefit the Parkinson Center at the Oregon Health & Science University (Portland), a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence.
