Drive Toward a Cure
Join Lance Phillips of Air & Asphalt LLC, ambassador for the North Texas Dinosaur Valley Tour event, who is planning a drive to benefit The Parkinson's Disease Center and Movement Disorders at the Baylor College of Medicine (Houston), a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence.
We'll be gathering at Starbucks in Mockingbird Station at 7:30 AM on November 14th for departure at 8:00 AM. Our group will enjoy a 200-mile drive (outbound and return combined) through some of the most scenic areas of North Texas throughout the day’s journey. As we head southwest from Dallas, we'll cross the Brazos River and enter Texas' famed Dinosaur Valley on our way to Granbury. In Granbury, we'll enjoy a break at The Fillin' Station, joining with the Maverick PCA Mavs & Mochas group as we get ready for the second half of the tour. We plan to arrive Granbury at 10:30 AM and depart at 11:00 AM. Route maps and turn-by-turn directions will be sent out to all participants several days prior to the rally. We plan to arrive Dallas on the return between 12:30 and 1:00 PM.
We’ll be driving for charity as part of the larger Rally Across America effort to raise funds for locally-based organizations nationwide – our event will support Drive Toward a Cure, a 501(c)(3) organization that has established an "Access to Care" program aligning with the Parkinson’s Foundation and six of their regional Centers of Excellence – including Baylor College of Medicine.
The registration fee is a minimum $100 donation, and the route will highlight some of North Texas' most beautiful scenery.
Thank you to our drive sponsors:
