Drive Toward a Cure has created its first grant giving program to directly support those with Parkinson’s Disease.
Special Assistance Fund
In the wake of the devastating California wildfires in 2018, Drive Toward a Cure recognized the unique needs those with Parkinson’s Disease face by the environmental impact of and being displaced by natural disasters, and now seeks to aid those people. Learn about our Special Assistance Fund.
Future Programs
Additional paths for directly supporting Parkinson’s Disease research and patient care are currently under consideration. Possible directions include:
- Assistance in providing support dogs.
- Continued driver training for those with movement disorders.

Local Programs
Drive Toward a Cure recognizes the need for ground-level, hands-on support for those who are afflicted by Parkinson’s Disease today. At this time we are striving to support local organizations when and where our signature events take us.
Parkinson Association of the Carolinas
The Parkinson Association of the Carolinas (“PAC”) was established to serve as a resource for individuals and their families living in the Carolinas who are affected by Parkinson’s disease.
