Drive Toward a Cure
“YRUW8NG” (Why Are You Waiting???)
That’s the mantra of Joni Pursell – a mother and grandmother, financial advisor, and an inspired Harley Davidson owner and rider. Starting May 9th, she’ll be embarking on a 34-day ride on her 2020 Harley Road Glide, traveling through 18 states, 2 Canadian Provinces and crossing over Lake Superior before heading home to Boise, Idaho.
Joni will be taking some of the most glorious roads in North America for a total of nearly 8,000 miles – conquering scenic highways and byways!
MAY 9 UPDATE: Joni is on the road!
Having overcome two major back surgeries and one hip replacement, she’s not one to let her bike or her body sit idle – in fact, she’s got more than 130,000 miles of riding under her belt and this trip will probably be her most meaningful because this time it’s more than a ride; Joni’s traveling for a cause.
SHE’S DOING IT ALL TO RAISE MONEY FOR PARKINSON’S DISEASE!!
As a woman who believes that life is really just ‘Earth School,’ she’s continuing to evolve, and – with your help – her commitment will allow others to evolve too. ALL FUNDS raised will be supporting Parkinson’s research AND patient care through Drive Toward a Cure, a charitable organization dedicated to spreading awareness and raising funds for organizations including the Michael J. Fox Foundation and the Parkinson’s Foundation and their numerous regional Centers of Excellence nationwide.
All contributions will be helping Drive Toward a Cure surpass the $1,000,000 milestone of dollars raised since the foundation’s beginnings in 2016 – and every dollar helps. And when you give, you’ll #BeOneInAMillion – benefitting the cause, the drive and those challenged by Parkinson’s.
So, again, “YRUW8NG”???? Let’s get this ride on the road!
