Drive Toward a Cure
The Greek island of Corfu will once again be home to classics and race cars when the organizers of Greece’s CORFU FESTIVAL OF CLASSICS re-open their famed event and their hearts to a ‘good cause’ -- October 27th to 30th -- in celebration of the past and present of motoring.
The weekend will be a ‘triple’ international event, focusing on the island of Corfu while including driving routes retaining the historic roads near the original Corfu Circuit; a remarkable Concours d’Elegance and a commemoration of the initial event more than 50 years ago, with an awards ceremony and Gala Dinner.
The entire event will also have a charitable endeavor, nodding to some of the great racers that were challenged by Parkinson’s disease -- internationally acclaimed drivers such as Phil Hill, David Love and Sam Posey -- by benefitting non-profit foundation Drive Toward a Cure® (a 501(c)(3) charitable organization based in the United States which raises funds and awareness worldwide to support Parkinson’s Disease research and patient care) through the automotive community. 100 percent of the proceeds gained through donations from this event will be distributed locally to Parkinson’s facilities within Greece.
Your donation will help to grow much-needed funds for Parkinson’s Disease as well as broaden the credibility within Greece for this prestigious motoring event to again become an annual tradition.
Additional event details and registration can be found on the Classic Car Center of Greece (3CG) web site: 3cg.club/2022/08/20/__classic-event
