Today we’ll hit Niagara Falls. Mileage will turn to 3,000+ today.
Yesterday was Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, PA. Mike’s first visit, our second. I still bawled thinking of what it had to have felt like for those on that plane. Their heroic actions saved so many people. Listening to their voice messages to their loved ones as they knew they were never going to see them again brings one to their knees. Here’s to honoring the victims and their families and everyone who sat in shock that defining day. Humbled.
This is definitely a spectacular experience. Mike and I are loving the roads and countryside. Thank you to Connie Burke to sharing her hubby to do this ride with me. If this were any other time she would have been with us too. Thank you Connie!
Clyde’s duties have made a huge difference. The Sherpa has been super at getting our navigation down to hit points we want to see and making sure “us two squirrels” stay on track to cover the country. Lobster is in our sights and I think I can taste it already.
Last night Mike learned a new game, Blockus. He even won a game!
Bob Evan’s got voted off the island last night. No stars on Yelp. Sorry Bob.
I’ve been notified that in fall of 2021 Dave Bruner of Star, Idaho was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. This ride’s for you too, Dave. Dave and his wife have been behind the annual Crawfish Boil to benefit 22 Too Many and the Idaho Anti-Trafficking Coalition. Amazing people doing amazing things. You’re in our thoughts.
Thank you for your continued support and comments. It’s great to hear from you. Because of your giving we have raised nearly $10,000. That’s awesome. Help us to continue spreading the word.
Time to do a podcast with Tes Silverman! Later everyone. Love to all of you.
