Drive Toward a Cure
Drive Toward a Cure is dedicated to spreading awareness and raising funds for Parkinson's Disease patient care, and research that will hopefully one day lead to a cure! Drive Toward a Cure is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and directs funds to The Michael J. Foundation for Parkinson's Research, The Parkinson's Institute and Clinical Center who blend world-class clinical work and leading scientific research, and their own programs including the recent California Wildfire Grant Fund that provided financial assistance to those suffering from Parkinson's Disease and affected by the 2018 wildfires.
The Journey
Hi - I'm Matt and in May 2019 my son, Kyle, and I will be travelling coast to coast. Starting from our home in Pennsylvania, we will meander across the country to a final destination of Los Angeles. Along the way, we hope to support Drive Toward a Cure by building awareness of this relatively young charitable organization and raising some money to support its cause.
The car we will drive is a 1984 Mercedes 300 D. The "D" is for diesel, which means it is slow as molasses. For us that adds to the car’s character, plus it gives all those behind us ample time to remember the web address: www.drivetowardacure.org/crosscountry.

What 's the Processing Fee?
Drive Toward a Cure is charged a fee for every transaction. In order to maximize our fundraising in support of Parkinson's Disease research and patient care, we are asking that registrants agree to cover this fee. It is your option, however, and you may decline to cover the extra fee. We won't think any less of you If
